Alvin, Simon and Theodore are on the road to celebrate the release of their newest DVD release and we made the VIP list! We were beyond excited. I’ve loved the chipmunks since I was a kid, my family loves to party and we were invited to watch the film at the coolest res in town.
Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment hosted a party for families at Au Fudge on Melrose. Among attendees were Beverly Hills 90210 co-stars Tori Spelling and Ian Ziering, entertainment host Samantha Harris and actor Sean Patrick Thomas with their families to name a few. And of course us! My kids – Jack and Gia were over the moon to meet Alvin, Theodore and Simon. Jack has been an Alvin fan for a very longtime and could not believe he got to meet them in person.
While waiting for the screening to start in Au Fudge’s, kids creative space, we snacked on delicious treats. Jack loved the mini-cheeseburgers and fries. While Gia enjoyed the Truffle Cheese sticks. I enjoyed the baked mac & cheese! The chocolate ch cookies and brownies were out of this world! Au Fudge’s menu looked enticing. We will definitely be back to try the full menu and play in their creative space.
We experienced new highs in movie viewing as we lounged on oversized floor pillows and comfy couches while snacking on fresh popped popcorn and lemonade. Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip did not disappoint. All the kids laughed at the chipmunks’ high jinks in fooling their human companions and keeping the misguided air-marshal fooled while they make their way to stop their dad from getting engaged. It was so fun to see the kids get up and dance during the music performances in the movie and jump around on the pillows with the chipmunks. This movie teaches the value of brotherhood, family and the importance of teamwork.
