LAVA lamps have always fascinated me since I was a kid! They seemed like little magical wonders, and I couldn’t quite figure out what made them so captivating. Now, I realize it’s just a simple bulb at the bottom that heats the wax, transforming it into a delightful splash of nostalgia to any room. What is really exciting is the wide array of colors the lamps come in, adding such a charming ambiance to any room!

We recently got our hands on a striking purple and red lava lamp with a nice silver base, and it’s now a statement piece on my husband’s desk at work. His students are in complete awe of it. He uses another light to cast an awesome glow on the wall behind the lava lamp, making it look even more trippy! Plug the lamp in, It will take a couple of hours for the lamp to warm up and get moving. I recommend turning off the lamp when you’re not using it and do not leave it on over night. Also, just a little heads-up: the base can get hot due to how the lamp operates, so be cautious.
I truly believe the lava lamp is a brilliant gift idea! It’s a nostalgic treasure for the older generations and a visually relaxing experience for everyone else!
