The NBC Sports Grill & Brew is entering the dining and entertainment arena with high expectations and unbridled fanfare.
The new NBC Sports Grill & Brew at Universal CityWalk Hollywood, adjacent to the Universal Studios Hollywood theme park, is open and inviting guests to enjoy its sports-themed offerings as the Tokyo Summer Olympics are underway.
The NBC Sports Grill & Bar will eventually offer a venue to view the NFL, NASCAR, IndyCar, the PGA, horse racing, Premier League soccer, the Tour de France and the French Open tennis tournament at Roland Garros.
The NBC Sports Grill & Bar has an array of HDTV screens showing continuous sports coverage from events all over the world. Diners can expect MVP treatment with converted shuffleboard and football tables and surrounded by sports-inspired decor, including specially commissioned art pieces and the NBC peacock logo.
The media wall at the NBC Sports Grill & Bar includes a 23-foot-by-13-foot HDTV monitor.
The menu offers a variety of traditional pub choices, tasty appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, salads, grain bowls and desserts. Among the choices are wings, fish tacos, loaded nachos, artisan pretzels, the Roadside Chili Burger, Gruyere Burger, Beyond Burger, Nashville Hot Fried Chicken Sandwich and the Brat Pretzel Press. The Bowl Game menu section offers The Chili Bowl and The Grain Bowl, a tasty twist to traditional favorites.
For those in a salad mood, the grill offers classic chicken Caesar salad, grilled steak wedge and Nashville hot chopped chicken salad. For more filling selections, there are smoked BBQ pork ribs, farmhouse fried chicken, broccoli & cheddar mac n’ cheese, NY strip steak and grilled cedar plank salmon.
For a sweet selection, the menu has warm apple strudel, warm chocolate chip cookie with stout ice cream and a variety of floats.
The bar offers a selection of over 40 beers, including the 862, an IPA and seasonal drafts custom-made to the Universal CityWalk Hollywood location.
