Rian Johnson’s Knives Out, the whodunit murder mystery that everyone’s been talking about will be making its way into your home on Digital February 7 and on 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack (plus Blu-ray and Digital), Blu-ray Combo Pack (plus DVD and Digital), DVD, and On Demand February 25 from Lionsgate and MRC Film.
The film, which is nominated for Best Original Screenplay, centers on the mysterious murder of a famed mystery novelist Harlan Thromby (Christopher Plummer), and the eccentric Detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) names all of the Thromby family as suspects. In order to get to the center of the donut hole, Blanc must untangle the web of lines before it is too late. Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Jamie Lee Curtis, Michael Shannon, Don Johnson, Toni Collette, LaKeith Stanfield, Katherine Langford, and Jaeden Martell also star.
Knives Out is one of my top ten favorite films of 2019. Its wildly original, funny, and surprisingly contemporary with its topical aspects and political angle.
Unlike some ordinary bonus features, Knives Out comes with a slew that gives its audiences and fans a more immersive film experience. Those that do get it will be treated to audio commentary and in-theatre commentary by filmmaker Rian Johnson, two never-before-seen deleted scenes, the eight-part “Making a Murder” documentary, the “Rian Johnson: Planning the Perfect Murder” featurette, a Q&A with the director and cast, and so much more.
The Knives Out 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack, Blu-ray Combo Pack, and DVD will be available for the suggested retail price of $42.99, $39.99, and $29.95, respectively.
