Cars 3 is quickly approaching its theatrical debut this coming weekend, and fans can expect to see the legendary Lighting McQueen in another heart-pounding race as a newer generation of young fast sleek looking racers arrive to push him out of a sport he loves. So in an effort to stay in the game, the veteran McQueen gets help from an eager Cruz Ramirez, who has her own racing aspirations.
Starting on June 14, 2017, “Road to the Races” nationwide tour will be in Los Angeles! Fans are invited to join Life-size, character look-alikes of five-time Piston-Cup champion Lightning McQueen and tech-savvy Cruz Ramirez at the Autry Museum of the American West, where a host of activities sponsored by Alamo Rent A Car, Coppertone, Crest and Oral-B, Dole, Mattel, and more as they will help celebrate the release of Cars 3.
Located at 4700 Western Heritage Way, Griffith Park, Los Angeles, CA 90027, attendees will be able to color a giant Coloring mural, featuring Lighting McQueen and his friends, hosted by Alamo Rent A Car. Participants will receive a color pencil pack souvenir for being a part of the event.
Coppertone will encourage participants to take part in a tire-changing challenge that will surely bring out the pit crew member in them. There will also be a photo-op opportunity.
Crest and Oral-B are giving fans the chance to smile for a post card that they have created, while Dole will offer healthy snacks to recharge some of those depleted batteries. They will also offer Cars-themed recipes that the whole family can make.
And Mattel will have an interactive play area featuring Lightning McQueen and other racers down the gravity drop and launches them into action in new play sets that feature locations from the movie. “Road to the Races” is a FREE event and will be parked at the Autry through June 18!
