It’s that time of year for BBQs, enjoy refreshing drinks and spending time with family and friends! Summer also means attending festivals and concerts. If you are a Big Time Rush and/or Victoria Justice fan you can look forward to The Summer Break Tour. I attended the first show of the tour at the Gibson Ampitheater in Los Angeles. My friend’s daughter was the perfect person to take with me as she grew up watching BTR on TV and singing along to their music. She was excited for our VIP experience and to also see the Kool-Aid Man! Kool-Aid is a sponsor of this summertime event.
VIP Package holders attended an intimate sound check with the band. James, Logan, Kendall and Carlos talked with fans, took questions and sang to the audience. We even sang along with them to during “Na Na Na”. Big Time Rush fans were energetic and giddy as they asked the guys how old they were, what their favorite sports were and if they had girlfriends. From there we moved along to the meet and greet. BTR fans hugged the band, had a quick chat and posed for photos! WOW! Can you imagine meeting your favorite band? I remember when I met my favorite band when I was younger. I’ll never forget that moment!

While we were waiting for the concert to begin we ran into the Kool-Aid Man. How fun! My friend’s daughter loves Cherry Kool-Aid and I remember my mom serving the drink during the hot summer months. The Kool-Aid Man graciously posed for photos with us.

Finally, the show began and the crowd went wild! Openers Jackson Guthy & Olivia Somerlyn warmed up the audience for Victoria Justice and BTR. Victoria Justice reminded me of a young Pat Benatar. She had a high energy show and the audience loved her! She did an excellent cover of Icona Pop’s “I love it (I don’t care)”. The moment everyone was anticipating finally arrived when Big Time Rush exploded onto the stage and sang all their hits. They actually pulled a fan onto the stage to sang “Worldwide”. The highlight of the show was when the band ran out into the audience and performed the song “We Are” while surrounded by their fans.

May I please have a big time time gift bag with their stuff in it I’m their fan I’m a ultimate seriously fan of big time rush I love everything about this beautiful eye’s band. my dream is to meet my favorite singer’s in Nickelodeons star big time rush are fun loving guys that everything I own of them are single boys and so sweet young famous friend’s on Nickelodeon since they were three. I love Big Time movie. I love their voices and greet singing fun boy’s. James maslow is adorable cutest little eye’s are sweet and I seen every day in pictures. 24seven is a terrific song for your album is awesome and really good.
