Review & Giveaway (Closed): Tovolo Ice Cream Pop Molds

Growing up, my mother had a set of pop molds that we all loved when we were kids. They were pretty plain, but they worked just fine for us. Today, Tovolo has a fantastic assortment of pop molds that are sure to please kids, but even more, moms who like to know exactly what they’re feeding their kids! We recently received a set of Ice Cream Pop Molds (their molds range in price from $9.95-$12.95) to try out, and loved that each of my girls could fill them exactly how they wanted. One was filled with a juice pouch and fresh strawberries, the second was filled with strawberry yogurt and fresh blueberries, the third had cranberry pomegranate juice and the fourth was mashed up watermelon and its juice – plus we squeezed in some fresh lime juice. The handles easily snapped into each mold and the base was compact and fit right in our freezer.

We popped them into the freezer for about four hours and they were a perfect treat for a summer afternoon! Three of the pops slid right out, but for the last one, that didn’t want to release from the container, I just ran it under warm water for a few seconds and it came right out. The girls loved that they got to make their own flavors, and I loved the fact that I knew exactly what went into each pop. Although boxes of freezer treats are an easy way to make it through the summer, there’s something special about letting your kids create their own pops. Plus, they always seem to taste better!
