I’m a thirty something y/o single mom with 4 kids and a full time job! I started Diary of a not so wimpy mom as an outlet for other non conventional parents like myself to talk about all the crazy and challenging things we go through as parents! My view on parenting has changed a LOT over the last 14 years. I first became a mom at 19, and at that age, I had no clue what being a mom really meant. With my youngest just turning 5, I’ve experienced more “joys of parenting” then most women experience in a lifetime! My outlook, albeit bold with a no nonsense approach, has always been about making my children my first priority. However, with that comes sacrifice, hard work, MANY sleepless nights, wearing shirts with crusty formula stains to work, a multitude of tantrums and endless loads of laundry! Above all these 4 little darlings make my heart swell with love. They’ve made me who I am and who I continue to be. I once read that “Motherhood is only place you can experience heaven and hell at the same time” and it couldn’t be more true!
