It used to be that Skin Care Products were for women and guys just used soap. This is no longer the case. As an esthetician I have tried tons of skin care lines and I have also witnessed the market for men’s products expand at a rapid rate. Father’s Day is a great day to introduce your man to something better than just soap and water.
The recently launched Organic Pharmacy Grooming Range, in my opinion, can turn any man into a “beauty product junkie”. The line consists of four key products- Shaving Cream, Moisture Cream, Deep Cleansing Face Wash and an Ultra Light Moisture Gel. All the products are handmade by using the finest organic essential oils, antioxidants and plant extracts that are also free from all preservatives, colors, fragrances and petrochemicals.
My boyfriend is not what you would call a “metro” male. He is a soap and water type of guy. Riding his Harley, sanding and refinishing guitars all day takes a toll on his skin. I have tried to explain to him the benefits of using something more than soap but it never works. That all changed when we were sent The Organic Pharmacy Deep Cleansing Facial Wash and Moisture Cream. I showed Bill the products and he said he liked the simple packaging and the way that the products were very lightly scented. By using essential oils, these products don’t have that artificial perfume ”man” smell like so many other men’s lines. I left the face wash in the shower so it would be easy for him to add it to his morning routine. He has been using it everyday.
The gel cleanser comes in a 75 ml tube and contains Aloe, Green Tea and Seaweed and retails for $39.95. Bill commented that his face felt “cleaner” after using it. It didn’t give him that tight feeling that he got with a bar of soap. He tried the moisturizer cream for a couple days and his skin was noticeably softer. The Moisture Cream is blend of aloe, green tea and rose water with antioxidants to calm and repair the skin and retails for $59.95.
The Organic Pharmacy was opened in London by Margo Marrone, a pharmacist who specialized in herbal medicine, nutrition and homeopathy. After she became aware of all of the poisonous pesticides and questionable ingredients in cosmetics and skin care products she opened her own “Organic Pharmacy”. This is a place where people can go and get toxic free products and advice from qualified professionals regarding all their health and beauty needs. The Organic Pharmacy Product line has something for everyone. They even have make-up, candles and nutritional
supplements. The prices may be a bit more than the average person likes to spend but you can feel confident that you are getting effective natural and organic products that truly work.
