Santa Claus is coming to town!! JCPenney has a special treat for guests this Saturday, December 19, and Sunday, December 20 at their Whittier location. Stop by the Whittwood Shopping Center for a jolly experience with Santa Claus.
Like many families, we look forward to annual Christmas photos with Santa. This year, JCPenney is offering families the opportunity to meet Santa and receive a complimentary digital photo from the visit! My daughter and I headed to Whittier to meet Santa for a holiday adventure!
We first heard jingle bells throughout the store, followed by a happy ho ho ho! He was like the Pied Piper — the kids followed suit! Two Elves accompany Santa as he makes his way around the store to his throne. My daughter was bursting at the seams. She was excited for her turn with Santa. She carefully whispered the things she wanted this year. Then they had their photo moment together. The photographer showed me the photo (got it in one shot!) and I was able to send the photo to my email address. Guests can share their image instantly to Facebook, Twitter or email.
Some Santas are a bit grumpy but I liked this Santa Claus. He was cheerful, his beard is real (that’s a big pro in my book), he is soft-spoken and attentive with the kids. Santa even pretended to dose off for a sweet photo with a napping infant. We loved Santa’s area with it’s bright colors. It was the perfect backdrop for a holiday photo.
Santa’s elves are store employees dressed in their elf best – shirts, hats and candy cane colored gloves. The elves hand each child a gift of either an antler headband or holiday bracelet while parents receive a $10 off $25 coupon offer! Just in time for holiday shopping!
