Looking for last-minute Mother’s Day gift ideas? Sure, extra sleep followed by breakfast in bed, in addition to hugs and kisses from the family, is fabulous. But, what’s wrong with being pampered and spoiled? It is our day. Thanks to Simon Malls, I spent a morning at The Shops at Montebello spoiling myself! I actually love shopping alone. I don’t have to worry about rushing or dragging around my family and friends. I strolled through the mall, window shopped, ate a yummy pretzel and used my gift card at my leisure.

Okay, I was drooling over this amazing, pink Coach bag. I don’t have a high-end bag, but if I did this would be my top pick! Certainly a big budget, high-end gift – but I am so worth it, right?

I admit it, I have a sweet tooth. A gift from See’s Candies would put a huge smile on my face. A California-based chocolate maker with more than 100 years of experience using all fresh ingredients – you can’t go wrong. Honestly, any of the chocolates would work, but consider the Scotchmallow (a layer of caramel with a layer of honey marshmallow covered in rich, dark chocolate) or their divine Peanut Butter Patties.

Spring is my favorite time to shop for new clothes. Bold colors and comfortable fabrics put me in a “road trip with the family” state of mind. The new slimmer 1969 Girlfriend jeans at The Gap caught my eye. I would pair the jeans (available in four colors) with a loose striped shirt, and then complete the look with a cute pair of ballet-styled flats, slip-on sneakers or espadrilles. Maybe even cuff the jeans to complete the casual, chic look.

Is she a sentimental collector? The Hallmark Store carries beautiful collectibles like the Willow Tree figures showing the love between a mom and child. Or get her a cute Wonder Woman itty bitty, cuzz every Mom truly is a superhero!

Is she a jet-setter? I love this Samsonite suitcase. I found it at Global Luggage. With it’s cool, colorful NYC city scape design, yet light weight and sturdy construction, this bag will stand-out among the masses of black suitcases at the luggage terminal!

I’m been talking about getting in shape since the beginning of the year! I stopped at Lady Footlocker to find some gear. With the help of the salesperson, I picked out this pair of Nike Vomero running shoes. My goal was to find a lightweight, comfortable shoe with excellent arch support for walking or jogging. I also liked the stylish splash of yellow to keep me motivated!

Bath and Body Works is always a favorite shopping destination for me and my friends. Candles, lotions and body washes in an endless array of wonderful fragrances are always on the top of my gift list. I highly recommend the Vanilla Bean Marshmallow scent. Hmm, did I mention I had a sweet tooth? Ha.

Everything is coming up shoes! What woman doesn’t love shoes? JCPenney‘s shoe department has super cute sandals by a.n.a. They are fun, stylish and affordable. The perfect pair to wear with jeans, as well as, dresses or black slacks.
