In celebration of Disney’s Cinderella, JCPenney brought together a group of women to experience their own Cinderella moment! Every woman has elements of Cinderella’s personality in them. They work hard. They care for family and friends and usually put everyone before them. JCPenney wanted to celebrate these women and make sure they felt like princesses for the day.
I think there is a diamond in each of us. Even when times are rough, we have to shine. JCPenney reminded me that feeling good on the outside helps us feel good on the inside. And it was nice to support our sisters, the women at the Cinderella Glam Ball. We need to come together rather than be divided.
At the event, my morning schedule was already exciting as I was attending the press junket for Cinderella. After the junket my personal carriage brought me to the JCPenney glam ball at the Loews Hotel in Hollywood. We were preparing for the red carpet moment at Cinderella’s world premiere in Hollywood.
Upon arrival, I was assigned to a Prince. My purple prince made sure that I stay hydrated and showed me around the different stations.
First, we stopped at the accessory station. Stylists helped me choose a statement necklace for my classic black dress as well as a three tone clutch bag adorned in black silver and gray accents. I love the selection of handbags and clutches so it was hard to decide on one. My necklace had large, square shaped crystal gems with a silver chain which was a perfect peace to my simple slim dress.
From there we went to the hair station. I was impressed that the stylist was able to tame my massive amount of hair. The result left me with smooth curls and waves in less than 15 minutes. Make up was next and artist Jessica did a fabulous job creating a smoky eye with lashes and a nice understated lip.
Last, I change into my dress and heels and prepared for our photo moment. Unfortunately it rained in Hollywood but the walk to the Loews Hotel from the El Capitan was fun and our fabulously styled group of strong women definitely turned heads!
We joined the pre-reception at the El Capitan theater. If you have a chance, see the film there. El Capitan has props, magnificent costumes and the glass slipper created by Swarovski from the movie. JCPenney had a display of the adorable products that are available in stores and online for the princesses in your life. My daughter was gifted her own Cindarella dress and she is in love with it.
The moment finally arrived where we walked the red carpet with other VIP guests and stars from Cinderella. We spotted Grumpy Cat, Josh Gat a.k.a. Olaf, Octavia, Jason Priestley, Ian Zearing and Molly Ringwald. Hollywood Boulevard was transformed into another era with stilt walkers, classical musicians and craft stations for mini-sizes princess’s. My favorites were getting my silhouette done just like you would at Disneyland and our JCPenney photo moment.
Before entering the theater, I was lucky to run into the stars of the movie who graciously stopped to take a selfie with me and my friend.
Wow!! I couldn’t have asked for a better Cinderella Moment! I encourage everyone to create special moments in your life, pamper yourselves, and of course have courage and be kind!
Cinderella is a beautiful film with a heart warming message, romance and eye-popping costumes! I want to thank JCPenney for showering me with kindness in my Cinderella moment. I truly felt like a princess and every woman (and their prince) deserves to pampered and celebrated!
CINDERELLA IS RATED PG AND IS IN THEATERS MARCH 13, 2015!

I was curious as to where I could purchase those Cinderella Flats with ahold butterfly accent. I know on the site it says available at Jc Penny. I went to their website and couldn’t find it.
Thank you,
