My daughter Kaleigh was sent a shirt to try out and she and her friends have had a great time playing it! I found the quality of the shirt very impressive especially when it stood up through the wash and came out as good as new! Watching Kaleigh and her friends play with the shirt gave me quite a laugh! Plus the fact that Kaleigh could actually put those guitar lessons to use was inspiring. This shirt would make a great gift for the tween/teen in your life. It might not be part of their regular wardrobe but it is a great novelty shirt that will bring them hours of fun! ThinkGeek has a a large collection of fun, quirky items on their must visit site! I saw so many things on their website that would have made perfect gifts for those hard-to-buy people in my life, both young and old!
Teen’s Thoughts:
Everyone is always looking for something new and cool to wear. The Electric rock guitar shirt is one of the coolest shirts I have seen. This shirt is like a real guitar. You can rock out on it. The shirt even comes with an amp that you can adjust the volume and attach to your belt. This isn’t just a pretend guitar. All of the spots that you strum with the magnetic guitar pick on the guitar are all major chords. This shirt is washable and all the parts can be taken off to make washing possible. So, get ready to rock out when you have the Electric rock guitar shirt on.I really like that you can actually play real songs on this shirt. All of my friends also think the shirt is really cool. We have had so much fun playing with it. My best Friend Zoe loves to pretend to be a rock star and turn the volume up all the way (it gets super loud). A very cool feature is that it comes with a chord chart so you know what chord is what (I tend to forget sometimes). My little sister likes to try to play it too and my 10 year old cousin thinks it is the best shirt ever! They also have a drum shirt that I would totally like to have and try to make a band. The shirts (both guitar and drum) are available in adult and kids sizes and retail for $29.99. Not into shirts check out the Electric Rock Guitar bag! ThinkGeek has so many original items that I have never seen anywhere else. Check out everything on their site (and for the record I am not a geek but I LOVE this site).
This shirt is available in kid sizes S, M, L and is currently on sale for $19.99

This shirt looks awesome. Teagan would LOVE IT. I might have to get it for her.
Wow! What a great shirt, so much fun!
I love the idea behind this and I’m so thrilled that it held up through the wash! That is always one of my big concerns so I’m glad to see that an actual consumer had no problems. I know my younger cousins would love this, definitely a fantastic Christmas/birthday idea!
my son got this for Christmas, but lost the chord chart. is there a copy of it online somewhere that I could print off?
