Taylor Swift isn’t just releasing albums anymore—she’s staging global events. Fresh off the historic launch of The Life of a Showgirl, just another record-breaking event for the 14-time Grammy winner, Swift returns to the Mouse House with two new projects designed exclusively for Disney+ to keep The Eras Tour in the cultural bloodstream through the holidays and beyond.

Debuting December 12, Disney+ will drop Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The End of an Era, a six-episode docuseries promising “unprecedented access” to the making of the most successful tour in modern history.
The docuseries includes access to rehearsal rooms, the stage, and so much more. The series spotlights the people who helped build the juggernaut—friends, dancers, family, collaborators, and famous cameos from the likes of Sabrina Carpenter, Ed Sheeran, Gracie Abrams, and Florence Welch. Two episodes will premiere each week, which will give fans times to either digest the weeks in between and opportunities to watch the episodes multiple times.
And because a six-part docuseries chronicling the rise of a pop-culture phenomenon apparently wasn’t quite enough, Swift and Disney+ are also releasing Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show on the same day. Filmed in Vancouver during the last stop of the tour, the concert film features the full performance—including the Tortured Poets Department set, which was added to the tour in 2024.
If the original Eras concert film was a flex, this is the epilogue and the encore rolled into one. The Vancouver stop marked the symbolic end of a run that broke records across continents. Now fans who didn’t sell a kidney for nosebleed seats can experience the emotional damage from their couches.
The projects arrive courtesy of a small army. The End of an Era is directed by Don Argott and co-directed by Sheena M. Joyce, produced by Object & Animal. The Final Show comes via Glenn Weiss and Taylor Swift Productions with Silent House Productions—because of course she owns a production company now; the woman re-recorded her masters out of spite and made it a cultural movement.
For Disney+, this is less a content drop and more a strategic land grab. The streamer already watched Swift boost their numbers with the first Eras concert film, and now they’re doubling down on the Swift economy before she buys the platform outright and renames it Enchanted+. The synergy isn’t subtle—Swifties get weekly episodes and a full concert, Disney gets subscribers who forget to cancel in March.
There’s also a certain poetry to the timing. With The Life of a Showgirl dominating the charts and Swift barreling toward awards season, these Disney+ releases serve as both archive and victory lap.
The Life of a Showgirl is streaming on all available music services. “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The End of an Era” and the “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show,” the full concert film featuring “THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT” begins streaming exclusively on Disney+ on December 12, 2025.
