Have you been searching for the perfect camera bag to protect your precious equipment? Bored of the usual suspects? I asked my friend Stephanie, who writes for Lifetimemoms.com and runs Bizziemommy.com (how does she do it??), to put together a list of her top choices. She came up with these amazing bags that should help you narrow down your selections. Happy searching!

The first road to recover is admitting you have a problem, right? So here it goes.
I have a problem; I have a serious addiction to bags. It started with the purse; I used to buy seasonally, sometimes even monthly. I always found an excuse to buy a new bag from the first day of school to the first day at a new job.
Then I had kids and my obsession with bags transformed into a new obsession with diaper bags. I loathed the boring pink or blue bag and was determined to find a bag that fit me. Then I had to get one for my husband. This went on until my son grew out of the need to lug around a huge diaper bag.
Then I bought my Canon DSLR and my bag addiction transformed to a camera bag fetish. I absolutely hated the basic camera bags, they were black, boring and screamed I’M A CAMERA BAG STEAL ME PLEASE!
Luckily I wasn’t the only female photographer with the problem because a slue of stylish DSLR camera bags have been popping up like weeds. I’m in camera bag heaven driving my husband to the brink of insanity. Just last week he asked, “Do you really NEED another camera bag?”
What a silly question, especially when you know the answer. I have had the fortunate opportunity to try some of the hottest bags on the market and here are my favorites.
All I can say is, love at first sight. I fell in love with the Red Lola bag from the first moment I saw her. This DSLR camera bag is perfect for everyday; use it as a purse/camera bag. You can fit all of your purse essentials inside with your camera and an extra lens. These bags go out of stock often so if you want one I suggest pre-ordering.
If you are looking for more of a ìshootingî style bag then the Kelly Moore Classic is a great choice. The bags are very durable and made with water resistant material. The bag stands on its own but is flexible enough to curve around your body when wearing it. You can fit your camera body, 2-4 lenses and your flash inside the bag along with cables, keys and other purse essentials. I like being able to slip my phone in the side pocket for easy access. The Kelly Moore collection has recently expanded to include a new hobo style and a boy bag.
A new comer on the scene that just can’t be ignored, the Nevis bag by ONA. This stylish camera bag is made with full-grain pebbled cowhide leather. It has enough room to hold your DSLR camera bag and up to 3 lenses. Even though this bag has a higher price tag due, it’s definitely worth exploring. Keep an eye out for the Ona collection new bags are expected to be announced this fall. I can’t wait!
The Missy is my favorite camera bag when I’m traveling because the adjustable dividers allow me to not only use it as a camera bag ñ but I can also use it as a laptop bag. My HP mini slips right inside with my camera and a couple of lenses. This does make the bag a little heavy but it’s tolerable when compared to lugging around and keeping up with two bags while at the airport. The Jo Totes collection includes three different designs that are available in several colors.
Some other camera bags designed for and by women include JillE.com, a more traditional bag with female flair, Kettihandbags.com, are great if you are looking for a bag with a pattern print.

Who knew that there was so many options for my camera? My plain old camera case isn’t going to cut it anymore. Not sure I can choose just one. Thanks for the great info!
