Jeans have been around since 1873. Levi Strauss helped patent the process of putting rivets in pants for strength and durability. On May 20, 1873, they received a U.S.Patent No. and that date is now known as the the official birthday of denim. Through the years denim has become a staple in the fashion world for men, women and children. Levi Strauss Co. continues to bring the latest trends to the world of fashion.
Levi’s newest line of denim called denizen is now available at Target. Created using unique styles for consumers who are looking for exceptional style and fit at the value that Target shoppers have come to expect. The jeans are available in a variety of washes and cuts for men, women and children. The prices are very affordable ranging from $17.99 to $29.99.
I was so excited to review this new line of jeans and introduce my three year old, Adeline, to them. I am a regular Target shopper and have been wearing Levi’s forever. Adeline recently decided that she wanted to wear jeans because her 16-year-old sister and friends wear them (they must be cool), so the timing was perfect. The style we received were the slim bootcut style in a traditional blue wash made from 99% cotton 1% spandex. The size 4 fit Adeline perfectly. In the past she has complained about denim because it is not comfortable. The regular rise on these pants and the small of amount of stretch seemed to make these perfect. She instantly exclaimed that she could move and even stretch in them. Her approval was enough for me to be hooked on Denizen. The retail price of $17.99 makes them even more appealing. The high quality of the jeans is comparable to more expensive jeans that I have seen for kids. These will definitely be a staple in her fall wardrobe. I have also been eyeing a pair for myself. For only $24.99 how can I resist?

I’m glad you reviewed these. I was just looking at them in store the other day, but wasn’t sure if they’d hold up or how’d they fit. We usually go with babygap but since baby number 2 arrived we’ve been looking at other brands to save some money. I think I’ll get some tonight and try them out with my little girl. Thanks again 🙂
