Buckets and shovels are two summertime classic toys. What kid doesn’t like playing with their sand and water toys at the beach? We’ve had many visits to the beach this summer and we usually have a full bag of toys in tow. We love all those colorful pails and shovels. That’s IT mommy came across a really cool variation on our priceless plastic. Check out Haba! Haba is a toy manufacturer based in Germany. You may have seen one of their many wonderful wooden toys. Recently they’ve expanded their line with other materials. Haba has a new line of plastic sand and water toys that we were excited to try out!
Teagan tested out the Haba Sand-Water Workshop set ($25). The set includes a sieve, funnel, and watering can. The recommended age is 3+ years. Kids can make sand cakes or decorate sand castles and even practice writing on the sand! They were so easy to use. Use the sieve to prepare fine sand that will fill in the funnel. Add water and viola! Scrumptious sand cakes and shapes. The Haba Sand-Water Workshop set is lightweight, durable and colorful. The watering can comes with two different spouts and holds a good amount of water. Teagan and her friend shared and fought over the funnel. They loved embellishing their sand castles with sand dots and swirly lines! Products are sold separately so you might want to consider buying two of the funnels. Haba also makes cool shovels in the shapes of ice cream cones and ice cream scoops. Use them at the playground or for scooping real ice cream.
HABA products can be found nationwide at over 1,000 U.S. specialty retail stores and in specialty catalogs and websites. They’ve won many awards and make high quality baby and children’s toys. Thumbs up!
Where to buy: Visit HABA’s Web site for more information.

Those look like something that Adeline would love too. We love Haba toys and will definitely be looking for these before our next trip to the beach. Great pictures too!

I am a huge fan of HABA’s wooden toys and didn’t know they had beach toys, too. My daughter would love these.
I’ve always heard such good things about Haba toys, I really should get some for my daughters. These look perfect for the beach too, wish we had one.
My kids love to play in the sand and these are so cute!
That is a really nice set! They seem to be well made and good sized unlike those small chintzy ones you get at the $ store!
