Don’t miss the First Annual PADI Women’s Dive Day on Saturday, July 18, 2015!
Join PADI at its inaugural event on Catalina, California, where they will celebrate PADI Women’s Dive Day. The goal and emphasis is to get as many women at possible, at every level, diving on the same day in order to build awareness and interest for the sport of scuba diving all around the world.
Bring your friends and family for a fun-filled day of diving, gear demonstrations, raffles and much more! Special recognition will be made for new divers who complete their PADI Open Water Diver certification at the event!
Divers from all around the globe will be celebrating PADI Women’s Dive Day. You can use the Event Locator on the PADI website to find a participating PADI Dive Center and Resort in your area. If none are available nearby, check back frequently as events are added daily, or contact your local PADI dive shop to encourage them to register for the event.
If you represent a PADI Dive Center or Resort interested in hosting an event for PADI Women’s Dive Day, make sure to register for the event. The top five PADI Women’s Dive Day events will be featured in an upcoming issue of Sport Diver magazine.

You can learn to dive in a couple of weeks by taking the academic courses online using a laptop or mobile device or in a classroom setting, then finish the in water training at a PADI Dive Center or Resort.
Learning to scuba dive was one of the greatest experiences I have had in my life. I even took my Certification Test in Catalina, where the water was clear and filled with sea life.
