I feel it is important to teach children at an early age about compassion and taking care of our neighbors. Helping others is rewarding and I try to encourage my young daughter to do well in school and in our community. I recently learned about an organization called Team Kids in Irvine, CA. The mission of Team Kids is to “inspire and empower young people to become resilient and responsible citizens with a passion for community service.” Team Kids raises funds to support other children and their families. This happens through school-based programs, community-based programs and community partnerships. 100% of all donations benefit local charities. I love the idea of children helping other people who are less fortunate then them.
Would you like to help? Team Kids will present its 7th Annual Imagine Celebration from 1:00-4:00 PM on March 24th. The event will take place at Il Fornaio Restaurant and attendees will enjoy a delicious Italian Buffet along with entertainment and the gathering of community leaders and the children from TEAM KIDS. The Team Kids Spirit Award will be presented to OAKLEY CEO Colin Baden and to EDWARDS LIFESCIENCES CEO Mike Mussallem for their leadership and support of the Team Kids Mission. The TK Youth Council will be hosting hands-on service projects for the young guests! And, its the 50th Birthday of the TEAM KIDS BUS!
Organizations such as Team Kids make a better place for everyone.

I agree. Kids need to be taught at an early age. This sounds like fun. I want to take my kids
