I was lucky enough to attend the L.A. Launch party for a new show on NBC, Moms & The City (on NBC’s California Nonstop channel–check local listings for your area). The event on February 7th, was held at the brand-new Le Posh Salon/Spa/Lounge in West Hollywood. The mom trio that makes up MATC (Denise Albert, Melissa Gerstein and Raina Seitel Gittlin) are the stars of the new show and were at the party to kick off their LA launch.
MATC is currently shown in Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington DC and is launching in Miami, Dallas and throughout California soon. They currently have a daily blog online with the NY Daily News and BabyCenter.com. They were also recently featured in US Weekly. They are all about the edgy, honest and sometimes controversial opinions of three real moms from NYC. The women cover parenting issues from the trenches as they trek through the joys and dysfunction, the exhaustion and exhilaration that motherhood brings. They also interview celebrity moms about topics they are currently reporting on the show and feature inspirational and entrepreneurial moms, too.
Le Posh Salon was a beautiful venue to host the launch. Every portion of their Salon/Spa was well-groomed and inviting. They kindly offered some pampering services for us mamas that attended, like neck and shoulder massages. The bar served up sodas and Skinnygirl margaritas. Once Le Posh opens (on February 8th), they’ll have coffee beverages to order, too, while you wait for your services. Zulily was one of the sponsors, and gave away adorable stuffed fish by beeposh with a mystery gift card attached to each one.
And, special thanks to Traded My BMW for a Minivan for the invite! It was great to have been a part of this event and I look forward to the premiere of MATC in LA!
