Though I was not a huge fan of the original animated series that aired in the 80s, I have to say that Netflix’s reimagining resonates with me. It may be a continuation of the OG series, but there were far better character arcs and world building, not to mention an expansion of the mythology. Makes me how much more is left to tell.
If anything, the trailer shows that showrunner and executive producer Kevin Smith will give us the He-Man we’ve been waiting for. Because, there can’t be a He-Man show without the muscular sword-wielding warrior himself. So we will just have to wait and see what other surprises awaits us in the final five episodes.
