Just one word, “Wow!” Teen Titans Go To The Movies was very interesting, funny, with lots of your favorite types of action all put in one film. Of course, there were lots of funny references to the TV show. I have been a fan of the show from when I was a little kid watching it with my sister. We found it perfect the way it was.
Before the movie, I thought it might be a bad spinoff but I was so wrong. At the beginning of Teen Titans Go To The Movies, I found myself thinking, “Is this a movie or an episode?” All of you who are scared to watch it because you think it might be bad, go watch it and I think after you’ll change your mind. Overall I was very satisfied with this Warner Brothers animation. The theme of the movie is about Robin trying to get himself a superhero movie with the help of his team the Teen Titans but they run into the evil Slade!
The Teen Titan characters are all the same as you remember them from the show with the same voice actors. I think my favorite scenes in the movie were the fights and the epic chase scenes. The animation is so well drawn! I thought it was amazing to see all my favorite heroes from the Teen Titans actually on the big screen in a movie. I enjoy the Teen Titans so much because of the fact that they are humorous and any kid can see themselves in a funny immature team of heroes ranging from an alien princess to a sidekick with a utility belt.
By far, my family’s favorite character is Robin just because of the backstory in the comics. In Teen Titans we see Robin portrayed in a very different way to the comics which is unique to TEEN TITANS GO. In the movie, we see a soft and passionate side of Robin even though there are some very challenging things he must do to get his own movie.
The Teen Titans are so funny because of the way they are so childish in contrast to your regular superheroes who are dark and serious. In the film, they cracked a very funny joke in the first two minutes and a half. I think the lesson in the movie is to keep your friends very close to you as if you were a real family together. So overall the TEEN TITANS GO TO THE MOVIES was very good and matched all of my expectations. Yay! Go see it.
