Our family is very into game night. As our daughter gets older we have been getting into puzzles, too. Artifact Puzzles kindly sent us the Big Pieces Flower Children Wooden Jigsaw Puzzle to further facilitate our growing puzzle obsession.
All pieces are artist-designed and cut by laser. I love that they are not your typically-shaped puzzle pieces (and so did our five-year-old, Kieran). She was very engaged the first time we put this together and wanted to place all the pieces that were shaped like flowers and butterflies! The wooden pieces are 1/4″ thick. This set comes with 110 pieces and are the perfect size for her little hands.
I picked a “Kind of Easy” puzzle as we figured this would be perfect to do with Kieran. On the Artifact Puzzle website, you can search by difficulty, number of pieces, century, artist and more. I helped her get the frame of the puzzle together and she pretty much took off from there, completely the rest of it.
Voila! That was fun! The picture shows 26 “flower children” illustrations and their corresponding poems from the original Flower Children book by Elizabeth Gordon published in 1910. This image is also available in a 510 piece version.
Artifact Puzzles specializes in artsy wooden jigsaw puzzles. The puzzle above retails for $50 and is available on their website. All puzzles are proudly Made in the USA! Check out their many other images. Puzzle pieces are cut to match the theme of the artwork. These make the perfect holiday gift for game and puzzle lovers, but also the hard to shop for music lover, artist and more (see additional images below).

Puzzles, you can never get tired of doing them. Once in a while during the winter months, the kids will look for a really hard puzzle, and spend a lot of nights working on completing it.
Thanks for sharing
those are some nice puzzles,,I like that they have big pieces so its easier for kids to handle
What a neat puzzle. I love wood toys and they will last from generation to generation. I would love to get a larger wooden puzzle for my grandkids to put together. This sure would make a great Christmas present.
What unique puzzles! My grandson really enjoys doing puzzles with me. These would be great for the whole family to do together!
