Knott’s Berry Farm’s Halloween Haunt is an extremely popular event for guests ages 13 and over. Knott’s Berry Farm’s Halloween Haunt event is celebrating it’s 40th anniversary this year! But, did you know that Knott’s Berry Farm also offers festivities for children ages 3-11? “Snoopy’s Costume Party” in Camp Spooky is the perfect non-scare event for the little ones! The event is during the day and takes place weekends in October. The best part is the price of “Snoopy’s Costume Party”! It’s included in your admission price.
My family and I experienced “Snoopy’s Costume Party” last weekend. My daughter was thrilled to be with her friends, to meet Snoopy and show off her Pocahontas costume! The Halloween decorations throughout the park are fabulous. You can catch moments from the It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown such as Lucy and Red Baron sharing an apple (My lips touched dog lips!) can be found throughout the park. It was also great to see the Peanut characters dressed in their Halloween best!
Check out this fun list of activities that are offered throughout the day.
Snoopy’s Costume Contest & Parade
Kids can take part in “Snoopy’s Costume Contest and Parade” where they can take their Halloween costume for a test run and compete for special prizes. All participants will then join in for a spirited procession through Camp Spooky.
Creepy Crawly Critter Cave
At the “Creepy Crawly Critter Cave” Knott’s park naturalist will amaze them with her slithery, slimy, creepy, crawly critters.
The Great Pumpkin Hay Bale Maze
Kids will love this maze of cornstalks and hay bales but they may get a bit lost if they’re not careful. The twists and turns of this maze will test their memory.
Peanuts Halloween Spooktacular
Charlie Brown, Lucy and Linus are having a Halloween party and everyone’s invited! Come join the PEANUTS gang as they celebrate Halloween with some spooky classic songs.
Scary Stories at the Lodge
The whole family will enjoy “Scary Stories at the Lodge” where master story tellers will spin the craziest, creepiest, silliest tales this side of the Great Pumpkin Patch.
Spooky Ookie Scavenger Hunt
Kids will want to make sure they grab their Trick or Treat bag and take part in the “Spooky Ookie Scavenger Hunt” where they can follow the clues to find the five Halloween treat locations.
In addition to all of the spooktacular activities there are more than 30 children’s rides!! My daughter’s favorite was ride was the Joe Cool’s GR8 SK8. What kid wouldn’t love riding a giant skateboard! And parents you can have fun too! Make sure you to jump a few of the thrill rides! And I don’t forget to stop by the MarketPlace. Plenty of shops and dining options for your family. There was a line out the door for Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant! I stopped by the Berry Market to pick up signature jams for some friends!
