IT’s Eco-friendly: Sparklehearts Review and Giveaway

I love beauty products so it is no wonder that my daughter does too. One thing that I have learned is that a lot of beauty products are filled with tons of scary chemicals and toxins that could really cause harm. Did you know that 60% of everything that you put on your skin is absorbed? Scary! Ever since Adeline was born I have been using organic products on her. She always begs me for the bright colored or character ridden labels when we are buying her shampoo. I just can’t do it and she just can’t understand why! Sparklehearts, created by Darcy McMahon and Hilary Orr, are a natural and organic line of bath products created with girls in mind. All of the products are 99.6% natural and use only organic ingredients, contain no artificial colors, are never tested on animals and come in 100% recycled (stylish and fun) packaging. The Sparklehearts line includes Shampoo, Conditioner, Hair Detangler, Body Wash and Body Lotion. Each one is scented with the natural Sparklehearts sweet, candy smelling scent.

We tested the Sparklehearts Shine Shampoo and Soft Conditioner. Adeline laid her eyes on the bright colored bottles and she “had” to take a bath to try out these “awesome” products. She finally had some bath products of her own that looked fun! I like that The Shine Shampoo and Conditioner smelled like candy in a natural way. I can’t stand products with that artificial perfumy scent. Yuck! Adeline loved the fact that her hair smelled like candy and demanded that everyone in the house smell her hair! The products made Adeline’s hair soft, shiny and fragrant. Each 10 oz bottle retails for $12.49. The price compares to other organic hair products plus the originality of Sparklehearts makes it truly worth every penny!
