IT’s All the Rage with Lush Products

Having tweens comes with it’s own set of rules these days. Fortunately, the bath products that my girls insist are the coolest among all their friends can be found at LUSH and not only are they super cute, they’re good for their growing bodies and the environment! Lush products are made from “fresh organic fruit and vegetables, the finest essential oils and safe synthetics.”

We recently had the chance to try out two items that the girls hadn’t tested out before. The Shower Jelly in Sweetie Pie ($6.95-$11.95) had a fabulous light fruity scent and just the right amount of shimmer to make my twelve year old truly happy (which doesn’t happen that often these days!). She did think the texture would take some getting used to, but, she mentioned that on the label it says that it can be frozen. We’re definitely going to test this out because I’m with her – there’s just something a little odd about showering with something that’s the texture of Jello!

My more traditional ten year old was super-excited that she got to try out the Rock Star ($7.95/3.5 oz bar) baby pink bar soap that scented with real vanilla so it’s got a fantastic clean smell that we both loved.

Dealing with the growing pains of entering into adolescence, and being in a house with two girls, pretty much anything that we find that keeps them smiling is okay in my book. Now, when it’s a product that is made with great ingredients, smells fabulous, is on the must-have list of all the girls’ friends and is loved by the moms too, we’ll we’re going to call that a win! Lush has a fantastic assortment of products for the bath, shower, hair, face, body, and perfumes that smell way better than ones I used to have. They’ve even to a great assortment of products for the men and boys in your life too! You can find Lush products online, or if you’re lucky, you can test out their products in a mall near you!
