Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank tells us the story of an outcast sent to Kakamucho by an evil official, Ika Chu. Hank believes his mission is to be the new Samurai and protect the village, but Ika Chu has other plans – to wipe out the villagers, and expand the royal palace. Hank finds his arrival to Kakamucho unwelcoming due to the surprising ban on dogs. Thankfully, he is taken under the wing of retired Samurai, Jimbo, and given a second chance. He also finds a new friend in Emiko, a young villager ignored by the other cats. Emiko becomes one of Hank’s biggest supporters, and proves herself vital to the community’s survival.
Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank has an impressive star-studded cast including Samuel l Jackson, Michael Cera and Mel Brooks, but the stand-out actor is Kylie Kuioka who voices Emiko.
