Two of my go-to-sites for fun crafts, recipes and tips are definitely Disney Family.com and FamilyFun.com. We recently spend time with the Disney Interactive Media Group at their spook-tacular Halloween Bash! We got a first hand look at a few of the ghoulishly cool Halloween crafts and recipes that the sites have to offer. Halloween is this Monday that makes this weekend perfect for spending time with the family and creating boo-tiful stuff!!
I definitely needed the inspiration this Halloween season. Here are some ideas that Disney.com has to offer:
Disney Family.com – Parents can create their own Disney magic at home this year with Disney-inspired Halloween crafts, decorations, treats, homemade costumes and more, available on Disney Family.com. Disney Family.com features tons of spooky recipes for Disney Halloween treats like the Mickey Mummy Cupcakes and Jack Skellington Cupcakes that you saw at the Halloween event. Families can also carve a Disney character pumpkin using free Disney pumpkin carving templates that can be printed right from the site. Twenty templates are offered for characters including Mickey and Friends, Jack Skellington, Tinker Bell, Phineas and Ferb, Perry the Platypus, and the newest Disney Princess, Rapunzel, among others. Other printable crafts include Disney Princess masquerade masks,Haunted Mansion Ghost masks, a Vampire Mickey candy box, Disney party invitations, and the Mickey Cutie Bats.
FamilyFun.com’s Celebrate with Sandra Lee – “Celebrate with Sandra Lee” on FamilyFun.com is a brand new web series that gives parents simple, spooky ideas for their family’s Halloween celebration. Celebrity chef and entertainer Sandra Lee brings her trademark style to Halloween, creating clever kid and adult costumes, pre-trick-or-treat eats, and cool-and-creepy crafts. The ideas are fun, easy-to-execute, and can be made with things you already have around the house!
