Box Creations have cardboard playhouses that take playing with a box to a new level! Rockets, pirate ships and other designs keep your kids role-playing and busy for hours. Lately, Teagan is all about princesses. Not sure how it happened, but it did. I try to support her all of interests. Box Creations sent us a playhouse to review and imagine her delight when a cardboard Princess Carriage arrived!
Teagan was excited for us to put together her carriage. Let me start off by saying that Box Creations playhouses are big (Princess Carriage dimensions are 52″Lx43″Wx40″H)! Make sure you have a space cleared out to place it. I suggest reading through the directions before you start assembly. Another tip is to pre-fold the creased areas before you start. This should save you some time and frustration. Putting together this playhouse took about 15 minutes and both my husband and I got involved in assembly. You also might want to coordinate movements with your partner. Getting some of the tabs into the slots was tricky and we slightly ripped a tab when my husband and I pulled at the carriage from opposite directions. I quickly taped up the rip and it has held together fine.
The princess carriage has two doors, two windows, a sunroof and two lanterns which complete the cuteness! Teagan uses the doorknob opening to get in and out of the carriage. This playhouse is extremely roomy. She can stand up in it and there’s plenty of room for another child to play comfortably.
Complete your Princess Carriage with Box Creations Horses. The Horses look like the classic ride-on horse stick toys but only these are (of course) made out of cardboard. Horses are sold in pairs so your kids and their friends can giddy up with them. Unfortunately, the insert that slides into the poles bent as soon as Teagan played with it. That meant the horses heads flopped to the sides. I tried to reinforce the area so that the horses heads would stay up. Either way she still likes running around with them, floppy heads and all! A great example of a child’s imagination taking over.
Four washable non-toxic markers are included to decorate the carriage. The houses have predawn outlines, which is helpful for younger kids who are still perfecting their coloring skills. Teagan’s carriage is a work in progress with mommy and daddy happily chipping in. We usually find her spending time reading, hanging with her doggies, or just chillin’ in the carriage.
Box Creations corrugated playhouses are less expensive then other houses that I have seen. They are priced at $39.99 and that includes shipping! I love that their products are made from recycled products and that we can also recycle the carriage once Teagan has outgrown it. Adorable and fun!
OMG my girls would LOVE this!
Awww, that is so adorable! My boys used to have a gingerbread house one and they colored every inch of that thing themselves and loved it forever!
My daughter would love this! We had a cardboard rocket that our children loved, but it did not have a design printed on it. I think having the lines are much better for children to use as a guide.
Those ride on pony sticks are AWESOME!
What fun that the kids can color it themselves!
My granddaughter would LOVE this! Her birthday is in a few weeks and your website is giving me so many great ideas…Thanks!
I LOVE that you can color on it! You can’t do that with a plastic play house. (well you can…..LOL) That is so cool. And kids really do love to play in cardboard boxes most of all don’t they? My daughter would LOVE this!
Love this! My son would so love to have one of these for his birthday! 🙂
Oh my goodness, I’m pretty sure that’s the cutest thing I’ve ever seen! I don’t have a little girl (yet) so I’m off to the site to look at the rest of their designs!!
That’s really cute! I love how they colored it
