Fancy Nancy Vol 1 On DVD Giveaway

Jane O’Connor’s Fancy Nancy was definitely one of my daughter’s favorite books when she was younger. As a parent, I adored Nancy’s independence, imagination, as well as her love for fancy words. The illustrations were gorgeous, and my daughter regularly recited words from Fancy Nancy’s Favorite Fancy Words: From Accessories to Zany. My daughter and I have fond memories of our time reading Fancy Nancy together, so I looked forward to checking out Disney Channel’s adaption of the Fancy Nancy books.

Fancy Nancy premiered earlier this year, and it looks fabulous. The stunning story from the books seems to jump off the pages and on to the TV where Nancy continues to explore her fancy imagination and passion for words and big dreams. As a 6-year-old with advanced vocabulary, her immaturity does shine through as she’s learning to control her emotions.

Mia Sinclair Jenness voices Fancy Nancy. The young actress was also doing great things at the age of 6. Mia was in a role for the Off-Broadway show, And a Child Shall Lead. She’s no stranger to drama and is the perfect fit for Nancy’s big personality!
