Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as starving actor Simon Williams who teams up with Ben Kingsley’s Trevor Slattery as he tries to earn the lead role in a remake film of “Wonder Man.”
Daredevil: Born Again — Season 2

Logline: Matt Murdock’s war for Hell’s Kitchen escalates as old alliances and new enemies collide in the next chapter of Born Again.
Season 2 is part of the post-retool split of the original 18-episode plan; Dario Scardapane remains central to the creative overhaul, with Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead involved and additional episode directors including Solvan Naim, Iain B. Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man — Season 2
Release date: Fall 2026 (window).
Set on an alternate earth outside of the MCU’s Earth 616, Peter’s “friendly neighborhood” era continues, picking up from Season 1’s fallout and pushing him into the next phase of his early Spider-Man life while also trying to balance school, friends, and love. Though no formal date has been announced, it is speculated that the series will begin streaming fall 2026.
X-Men ’97 — Season 2
Release date: Mid-2026 (window).

Logline: The X-Men are scattered across time and must fight their way back—while facing Apocalypse.
When we last left the X-Men, they had just defeated Bastion, a human–machine hybrid who was conceived after his father was infected with part of the advanced, time-traveling Sentinel Nimrod. Now scattered across different times, the seperated teams must find a way to return home, all the while facing off against the likes of the nearly immortal mutant Apocalypse and his four horsemen, one of whom is their former teammate, Gambit.

Paul Bettany reprises his role as an altered verison of the Vision that first made its appearance in WandaVision. Terry Matalas serves as showrunner with James Spader reprising his role as Ultron.
Punisher Special Presentation

Logline: Frank Castle returns for a standalone, hard-hitting one-off story designed as an MCU “special presentation” event.
The project is set to be the third Marvel Studios Special Presentation within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, existing in continuity with the franchise’s films and television series. Produced by Marvel Studios, it marks the character’s (to be played by Jon Bernthal) second MCU-focused outing following The Punisher (2017–2019), which was produced by Marvel Television and originally released on Netflix. While there is no official plot as of yet, we can assume that it takes place sometime after the events of Daredevil Born Again season 1 where Frank Castle escaped from the Kingpin’s prison.

Directed by Sam Raimi, “Send Help” sees Rachel McAdams returning to the survivor thriller genre, where she plays an underappreciated employee of a spoiled and privileged boss (Dylan O’Brien) who under appreciates her value. So when a work trip goes awry, and they end up being the only survivors, it turns out that maybe the boss should have appreciated the value of his employee.

“Psycho Killer”

Logline: A police officer hunts the “Satanic Slasher” after her husband is murdered, pulling her into a terrifying case with personal stakes.
Directed by Gavin Polone, using a script written by Andrew Kevin Walker, “Psycho Killer” police officer Jane Thorne (Georgina Campbell) who is tracking a serial killer known as “the Satanic Slasher” (James Preston Rogers) after he murdered her state trooper husband. The film also stars Logan Miller, and Malcolm McDowell.

Logline: A teen “hops” her consciousness into a robotic beaver body to stop a plot that threatens the local animal habitat.
Pixar’s first film of the new year is a very playful take on the Avatar concept. Where a young teenage genius named Mabel (Piper Curda) hops her consciousness into a robotic beaver’s body that was meant to study local wildlife. When that ecosystem is threatened by a land devloper (Jon Hamm), Mabel takes it upon herself to assemble other members of the wildlife, lead by a king beaver (Bobby Moynihan) to stop their kingdom from being destroyed. Directed by Daniel Chong, from a screenplay by Jesse Andrews, the film also features the voice of Meryl Streep.
“The Devil Wears Prada 2”
Release date: May 1, 2026.

Logline: Miranda Priestly returns as fashion and media keep changing, forcing new power plays in an industry that never stops judging.
The highly anticipated sequel, directed by David Frankel, who uses a screenplay by Aline Brosh McKenna, finally arrives and sees its original stars Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci reprising their respective roles.
“Star Wars: The Mandalorian & Grogu”
Release date: May 22, 2026.

“Moana” (live-action)

Logline: Live-action reimagining of Moana’s voyage beyond the reef to save her people and answer the ocean’s call.
Directed by Thomas Kail, with Dwayne Johnson returning as Maui and Catherine Laga‘aia starring as the titular Moana, the first teaser trailer relied heavily on nostalgia from the first, if you could call it that since it hasn’t even been ten years since the original hit theaters.
“Whalefall”
Release date: October 16, 2026.

Logline: A scuba diver searching for his father’s remains in the ocean is swallowed by a sperm whale, leaving him an hour to find a way to escape.
Based on the Daniel Kraus’ novel of the same name, “Whalefall” stars Austin Abrams, Josh Brolin, Elisabeth Shue, and Jane Levy also in the cast.
“Hexed”
Release date: November 25, 2026.

Logline: An awkward teen and his Type-A mom discover his “weirdness” may actually be magic—pulling them into a secret world where everything flips upside down.
Directed by Josie Trinidad and Jason Hand (co-head of story on Zootopia (2016) and was the head of story on Ralph Breaks the Internet (2018)) produced by Roy Conli and Juan Pablo Reyes Lancaster-Jones, not much is known about the film outside of the plot. However, what is genuinely exciting about this is how a woman of color is helming a Disney animated feature.
“Avengers: Doomsday”

Logline: The Avengers and allies collide with Doctor Doom in a multiverse-scale event positioned as a major lead-in to Secret Wars.
As the fifth installment in the Avengers film series following “Avengers: Endgame” and the 39th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, “Avengers: Doomsday” has a very low bar to cross considering Marvel Studios’ recent output. So while the individual films that lead up to the mega ensemble event have been met with mixed reviews, audiences and fans will be excited to see how the Avengers, Wakandans, the New Avengers from Earth-616 and the Fantastic Four and X-Men from other Earths team up to face Doctor Doom (Robert Downey Jr.).
“Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice”
