Quidam: a nameless passer-by, a solitary figure lingering on a street corner, a person rushing past and swallowed by the crowd. It could be anyone, anybody. Someone coming or going at the heart of our anonymous society. A member of the crowd, one of the silent majority. The one who cries out, sings and dreams within us all. This is the “quidam” whom this show allows to speak. This is the place that beckons—a place for dreaming and genuine relations where all quidams, by proclaiming their individuality, can finally emerge from anonymity.
The first Cirque du Soleil show I saw was Saltimbanco in the early 90s. I was hooked. The show was so unique and I couldn’t stop thinking and talking about it to friends and family. I’ve been to many Cirque du Soliel shows since then, across the country and overseas. Each show offers a unique storyline with the familiar Cirque style of athleticism, skill, art, and beauty. There truly is a magical quality to these shows. Mystery, emotion and plenty of those “ooh” and “ahh” moments. I cannot wait to see Quidam on opening night. I’m interested to see how the show will lend itself in an arena setting.
Tickets are available at the Long Beach Arena Box Office, cirquedusoleil.com, ticketmaster.com or charge by phone 800.745.3000.

I have seen Cirque on TV. I like the choreography. It was almost like being at the ballet. The atmosphere seems awesome.
I have never been to a Cirque du soleil. But this would be a great opportunity to take my wife and our 2 boys. Plus we vie in LA area, Hope we win thanks for the chance.
What’s NOT to love about Cirque! You enter a new world, full of color, light, movement and music. It’s fun, funny and breathtaking. They have taken the tired old concept of circus and made it sparkle and shine. My daughter loves the circus and would run away with Cirque if she could — we have seen the last three shows here in L.A. …and we want to see the next!

i looove the unique choreography, makeup, costumes, set props, etc! Cirque du Soleil shows are extravagant and totally over the top…love ’em.
We saw Mystere in Las Vegas years ago and loved it. We’d love to catch this new show. We were impressed by the physical strength and flexibility of the performers. They true atheletes and they look like the love what they are doing.
I have never been to a Cirque du Soleil show! I heard that this is a very good show and would love to go!

My favorite things about Cirque are, Music, costumes, acrobates dancing, you dont have enough room, honestly! Before my divorce last year, my family was able to go to Mystere and Love. Both were very different but soo amazing! My son has had some recent troubles surrounding the last year and was almost not going to graduate, well, he worked Very very hard and is now going to graduate on time with almost all A’s this year! I am so very proud. I wanted to take him to Quidam as a graduation present with his girfriend and his grandmother, unfortunaley, it is out of my budget.
This being the story of a young child who escapes into the fantasy world, I thought it would be a wonderful celebration for a graduation that I was unsure would happen!
