Singer-songwriter Chaka Khan is best known for her hits “I’m Every Woman,” “I Feel For You” and “Through the Fire,” has sold over 70 million records. She Rocks Awards, hosted by the Women’s International Music Network (the WiMN), took place on Jan. 22, 2016, at the Anaheim Hilton Hotel during the NAMM Show, and honors women in the music industry who are pioneers and role models.
Khan has been honored throughout her 40 year career in the music industry having received the Soul Train Legend Award (2009), The BET Lifetime Achievement Award (2009), and a 10-time GRAMMY Award-winner.
