We came in a little late to the Angry Birds craze but my entire family loves playing Angry Birds Star Wars on our Wii and smartphone. I didn’t hesitate for a second when we were asked to review Angry Birds Go! Jenga Pirate Pig Attack Game (phew, that’s a long name).
Have you ever wanted your Angry Birds to come to life? They can in this game! Hasbo’s Game includes:
- 2 karts
- bird
- 5 pigs
- 2 launchers
- ramp
- ship base, left ship frame, right ship frame, left railing piece, center railing piece, right railing piece, 5 cannon blocks, 2 half blocks, 11 full sized blocks
- mast with crow’s nest
- flag with stand
- sail with stand
- instructions
The game is fun, the figures are cool and I absolutely love the idea of a pirate/Angry birds adventure. Your little pirates can set up the ship then launch the karts to attack! Sadly, there are a couple of downsides to the game. The first is that it takes awhile to set it up. The game is meant for children 8+ but my 6YO LOVES this game and she can’t put it together herself. Maybe an older child wouldn’t have any issues but even my husband struggled with it. Another down side is if you happen to destroy the ship in one launch that means you have to spend another 10 minutes setting the game up.
We give the game 3 out of 5 stars. Angry Birds fans should test out this game. Definitely involve the entire family to speed up the assembly process and Go! Go! Go! The price is on the high sude at $29.99 but I did see it on sale at Toys R Us!
Do you prefer digital fun? Angry Birds Go app from Rovio is free on iTunes. designed for iPhone and iPads this game will have you speeding to the finish line! Soup up your go carts, smash into fruit and more! I’m obsessed with this app. It kept my daughter and I busy during a long flight back from Boston (to LA).
