Fall is in the air and pumpkins, ghouls and ghosts can be spotted everywhere. Apple Cider and Pumpkin Pie are on all the menus. October in New England is always lots of fun with the cooler temps and beautiful foliage it is a great time to get outdoors with your family and visit a spooky (or non-spooky) event. Jack-o-Lantern Spectacular

Great Pumpkin Fest at the EcoTarium

Local youth groups carve nearly1,500 pumpkins, which are displayed throughout the grounds. The day includes hayrides and train rides, a planetarium show, games, carving demonstrations, and crafts.
Boo at The Zoo

Creature encounters, creepy crafts, ghoulish games, a trick-or-treat trail and a Haunted Maze.
Smolak Farms
