There’s a Wocket in My Pocket – We love the rhyming word play in our family of this Seuss classic. This colorfully illustrated book introduces kids to the entire world inside the world of regular household items, like the silly, fuzzy creatures that live in the lamps, sofas and toothbrushes around the house.
The Lorax – This is a book for older readers than the others on this list. And it has a really awesome lesson about how we all need to treat the earth if we want to enjoy it for more years to come.
All the Place You’ll Go – A go-to present for all those high-school and college graduates in your life this springtime. Using the familiar Seuss graphics and rhyming prose this book reminds us to be kind with ourselves as life offers us happy and sad learning moments as we get older.
Green Eggs and Ham – The Cat in the Hat is the voice of all the crazy visuals and words in this book. Just the image alone of green eggs and ham has little ones rolling in the aisles. The story serves well as an opportunity to turn everything about your day on its head and have some fun.
