When I first got married, I tried to iron my husband’s work shirts and trousers. Ironing was a new concept for me, something I’d only seen my own mother do a few times – she hated it. But my new husband’s mother loved ironing so much, she used to iron sheets! So that was what I was up against. A few months and some scorch marks in, I quit, telling my husband “I’m sorry, it’s not going to happen. You’ll have to iron your own clothes.” He was okay with this, having inherited the ironing gene from his mother, so absent in me, from mine. He started ironing his own clothes which is another reason I love him. So, when I heard that Downy had a new product that relaxes wrinkles out of clothes, I was eager to try it, ironing-averse-that-I-am. Spray the Wrinkle Releaser Plus on 
dry clothes in a sweeping motion and you literally see the wrinkles disappear. Tug a little at the edges of the clothing item and they disappear even more. I have a favorite shirt that I rarely wear because, no matter how quickly I take it out of the dryer, it still wrinkles up. I tried the spray on it, and it was perfect. I wore it that night, out of celebration. My only three words of caution are, 1. Test it on any silky or rayon-type fabrics before spraying, 2. Spray over the bathtub and then rinse it out because the falling mist left a slightly slippery feeling on my floor and 3. Know that it has a pretty scent which men might not like but the smell dissipates within a day. Personally, I liked the smell which was like fresh laundry, seeing as how it’s Downy and all. Downy Wrinkle Releaser Plus can also be used as an ironing aid leaving clothes less stiff than starch, as a freshener and as a static cling remover (I tested that too and it works great). The product comes in a variety of sizes, including small travel bottles which I’ve already put in my always-ready toiletries bag. It’s going to be a Godsend when I travel.
