Muppets Most Wanted Hollywood Premiere #PileOnTheVeggies

It was time to raise the curtain at The El Captain in Hollywood, where the world premiere of the movie Muppets Most Wanted was held. We were invited by Subway to attend the celebration and it was a dream come true! I never imagined as a child that one day, I would walk the red carpet in honor of my favorite television characters!

My daughter and I arrived dressed in our red carpet best as we watched the crowds cheer on their favorite actors. The Subway Guy, Jared Fogel,  along with other news outlets interviewed Kermit, Constantine and Miss Piggy. We met with Jared after his interview. He’s keeping the weight off and he looks terrific.

Before entering the movie, Subway gave us  SUBWAY® Fresh Fit For Kids Meals which now come in super cool, colorful Muppets Most Wanted backpacks. There are six different designs and I have to have them all!

We finally entered the El Captain to find Statler and Waldorf, our two favorite grumpy old men, sitting in one of the balconies doing what they do best- heckle the Muppets! They entertained the audience with their wise cracks which only added to the excitement. Muppets Most Wanted is the sequel to the Muppets (2011). The Muppets embark on a world tour after Dominic Badguy (Ricky Gervais- Invention of Lying) takes them under his wing as their manager. The unsuspecting gang become part of an international crime plotted by the world’s most dangerous frog, Constantine. The comedy is nostalgic, has an awesome soundtrack and fantastic cameos! Speaking of cameos, keep your eyes peeled, Subway makes an appearance in the movie!

The fun didn’t stop there. We attended the after party for the Muppets Most Wanted where we posed for pics in front of fun props such as the hysterical, tiny Interpol car driven by agent Jean Pierre Napoleon. We nibbled on international faire, mingled with celebrities and played games! What a Muppetastical night!

Muppets Most Wanted is in theaters on March 21. Until then you might even catch Miss Piggy in a Subway commercial where she piles on the veggies. Miss Piggy and her favorite frog make a pit stop at Subway where they run into Jared before Piggy orders her oven roasted chicken on wheat sandwich. What veggies does Miss Piggy like? Tomatoes, green peppers and spinach. Order your sandwich the way you want at Subway, I usually order the Veggie Delite where I definitely pile on the veggies.
