LEGOLAND Florida’s brand new hotel, Beach Retreat now open! If you have a LEGO fan (or just a fan of staying at cool hotels), then I have 5 Reasons To Stay At LEGOLAND Florida Beach Retreat. Not only does Legoland live up to their slogan, “built for kids”, but they didn’t forget about the parents either.
Easy Drive-Through Check-In
From the moment you drive up to the LEGOLAND Beach Retreat, everything is made simple for you. Including checking into the hotel. Imagine not even having to get out of your vehicle to get your room keys. Well, that’s exactly what LEGOLAND Beach Retreat has created. The easiest and fastest check in I personally experienced. Especially, when you have the kiddos in the car and can’t wait to explore the hotel. Just simply show the ID that’s on the reservation and everything is taken care of from the comfort of your vehicle.
Village-Style Beach Bungalows
The beach bungalows at the LEGOLAND Beach Retreat are grouped into 13 “coves” named after popular LEGO Minifigures. I thought that was so much fun and so did my daughter who is a big LEGO fan! She noticed right away. The 83 bungalows are split into two, accommodating 166 separate rooms that can sleep up to 5 guests. Including an outside patio for each room.
The bungalows technically has two rooms. One with a bed for the parents and a private area for the kids to hang out in, with a privacy curtain. The kid’s room has bunk beds, with a trundle bed underneath, and a set of legos to play with. Which kept my girls busy for hours. It really felt as if my husband and I had our own room. While still having our girls close by.
Each room has two spacious closet areas, which is great when traveling with a party of 4 like us. You also have a mini fridge, coffee maker, flat screen tv, and lots of LEGOS as decorations.
Don’t feel like going anywhere, but lounging around your room? Then sit outside to enjoy the beautiful Florida weather in your bungalow’s front porch while your kids enjoy their very own mini playground. The perfect addition for parents to rest their feet as the kids still keep having fun!
Awesome Pool With Kids In Mind
One of the things that I always look for with two young children is if a hotel caters to both my oldest daughter who loves to swim and my youngest one who is still learning. I can definitely say that LEGOLAND Beach Retreat definitely got it right! The pool begins in zero depth and only goes up to 3-4 feet. Making it the perfect pool for kids of all ages. Even mom and dad!
With a pool filled with LEGOS, what kid wouldn’t enjoy this much fun? Seriously, the large LEGOS in the pool was the perfect finishing touch. Not only does it make the pool look fun, but the kids actually were beside themselves with so many LEGOS to play with.
Need a cool beverage while the kids play in the pool? Sure, why not! LEGOLAND Beach Retreat has two signature drinks “Fish In A Bag” and “Bricks On The Beach”. How awesome are those names? Let me just tell you, they taste even better!
Breakfast Buffet Included
One of the hardest things when traveling and visiting theme parks is making sure that my girls have had a good breakfast. Well, the LEGOLAND Beach Retreat includes a breakfast buffet with a large of assortment for the entire family. The breakfast buffet includes an assortment of hot foods, pastries, cereals, and bread.
As a mom of a child who has severe peanut allergies, I appreciated the fact that the chef came out to speak to me when i told our server that my daughter had allergies. He assured me that they do not use peanuts in any of their ingredients. The only thing that she couldn’t have out of the entire buffet was the pastries, but this is normal everywhere we go. Loved that they were so attentive to this.
Early Park Admission To LEGOLAND
What better way to enjoy the LEGOLAND Florida Resort than before they actually open the park to the public? This is the perfect way to enjoy some of LEGOLANDS newest attractions like LEGO Friends and the much anticipated LEGO NINJAGO without the crowds.
Don’t forget about their upcoming events like KIDZ BOOP weekends from April 28-30 and LEGO Star Wars Days from May 6-7 and 13-14, which are included with your park admissions.
