The 95th Oscar nominations were announced early this morning with many favorites like “Everything Everywhere All At Once,” “The Banshees of Inisherin,” The Fabelmans,” “Elvis,” and even “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” all vying for the top awards. And of course there were a few other surprises along the way.
Here’s a few things by the numbers. “Everything Everywhere All At Once” took 11 nominations, including Best Picture, Best Diector, and Best Actress for Michelle Yeoh, Best Supporting Actress for Jamie Lee Curtis and Stephanie Hsu, and Best Supporting Actor for Ke Hua Quan. That’s followed by nine for “The Banshees of Inisherin.” “Elvis” has eight nominations, and “The Fabelmans” earned seven.” Top Gun: Maverick” nabbed six, while “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” earned five.
