Accio The Grinch.
There is only one place in the world that can bring two unique Christmas experiences to the same place: Universal Studios Hollywood. Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Grinchmas return to the theme park starting Nov. 28 and will continue until Dec. 29. Visitors can experience holiday warmth and cheer in Hogsmeade and Hogwarts in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and the twisted Christmas treats of Grinchmas.
In what has become an annual holiday tradition, Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will feature seasonally themed holiday decor and The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle at night. The legendary school of witchcraft and wizardry will be illuminated with colorful images and spectacular lights that bring the castle to magical life every night.
The a cappella Frog Choir, made up of students from Hogwarts and giant throaty frogs, will entertain guests with holiday songs and provide plenty of cheer.
Additionally, guests can find custom-made Christmas ornaments, snow globes, Hogwarts crest and ornaments representing the four houses, wizard card ornaments, tree toppers and house pennant garland while strolling through the Hogsmeade village.
And of course Butterbeer will flow freely during the holiday celebrations.
In Grinchmas, visitors can experience a 55-foot twisty, turvy tree decorated with thousands of choreographed multicolored lights, simulated snowfall and visits from The Grinch, his dog Max and the Who’s who of Whoville.
The Minions from Despicable Me also enter the festive fray with Despicable Me Minion Mayhem and Super Silly Fun Land.
In Universal’s CityWalk, a 40-foot-tall Christmas tree, free concert performances and street performers providing eclectic ensembles will entertain guests through the holidays.
The California Neighbor Pass, which offers guests the opportunity to experience 175 days of fun for $149 when purchased online, are available. Visit www.UniversalStudiosHollywood.com for more details. Blackout dates and restrictions apply.
