“Sinners” leads the 2026 Oscar race with 16 nominations, which includes Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, and Best Original screenplay. Those 16 nominations makes “Sinners” the most nominated film in Oscar history, surpassing the previous record of 14 nominations held by “All About Eve,” “Titanic,” and “La La Land.” The worldwide phenomenon “K-Pop Demon Hunters” earned two nominations, for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song. While “One Battle After Another” took 13 nominations, followed by “Frankenstein,” “Marty Supreme” and “Sentimental Value” all earning nine apiece.

The Oscars will air on ABC on Sunday, March 15, starting at 4 p.m. PT. and will be hosted by Conan O’Brien.
