Are you planning to travel in 2023? Locally or outside the United States? Do you have your passport? Do you want to travel and pack smarter? Get all these questions answered and more at the 2023 Los Angeles Travel & Adventure Show, on February 18 and 19.
Traveling in a post-pandemic world is always changing and evolving. You’ll be able to hear from and talk to many travel experts, like Rick Steves, Travel Writer, Host of Rick Steves’ Europe and Travel with Rick Steves; Pauline Frommer, Editorial Director of the Frommer’s Guides and Publisher of Frommers.com; Peter Greenberg, Emmy Award-Winning Investigative Reporter & Producer & CBS News Travel Editor; and many others.
Throughout the day, speakers and panels will be held at 3 theater stages spread across the show floor:
– Travel Theater. Hear from keynote speakers and travel personalities LIVE from the show floor.
– Destination Theater. Destination-specific sessions that give you the most up-to-date advice on where to go, what to do, how to get there, and how to save.
– Savvy Traveller Theater. Travel like an insider with the latest tips, tricks, and advice from travel experts who live on the road.
They used to have a 4th stage that featured dancers and music from around the world, but it has not been set up since the pandemic.
You will be able to speak to travel representatives from over 250 travel destinations, locally and globally. There have been so many places that I have gone to or plan on visiting that I found at the show. It’s always fun to speak to these travel representatives at the booths. They are always so knowledgeable and can give you tips on traveling around the area. I think it was last year or the year before, I learned about a way to enter Yosemite without making the reservation.
Book your trip or cruise at the show and you could save with exclusive show-only travel deals and specials.
Now here is a great thing about this show. If you need to apply for a passport, as I did back in 2019, you could do it on-site at the show. The Bureau of Consular Affairs – LA Passport Agency has returned this year to process passport applications or renewals, through The Passport Acceptance Program. They will only accept 300 attendees over the 2-day weekend, which is 150 attendees per day. You will need to fill out the form at this link here before the show and you will receive an email confirmation. A passport photo can be taken for you for an additional fee. You will also receive free admission to the event too.
The Los Angeles Travel & Adventure Show will be at the Los Angeles Convention Center on Saturday & Sunday, February 18 & 19. For more information, please visit https://travel shows.com.
