Los Angeles Gift Card #Giveaway: The Shops at Montebello’s Countdown to Christmas

I have to be quite honest, I prefer shopping at malls over the internet for my holiday gifts. Sure, shopping online is convenient but it just doesn’t feel like the holidays if your not lugging around big bags filled with gifts, walking past excited kids waiting in line to whisper their wishes to Santa Claus and window shopping for your own personal dream Christmas list.

The Shops at Montebello in Los Angeles is the place to shop this holiday season. I recently visited for a Christmas shopping spree and here were my 6 favorite stops.

Forever 21- One of my daughter’s request is for “cool clothes”. The ladies at the customer service desk told me that Forever 21 has a girl’s section. That’s all I needed to hear! Forever 21 has the latest trends at awesome prices so I was curious to see what they had to offer. On the second floor there is a large selection of “cool” styles for girls 4-14. I purchased a few items including a cute purple skirt that will look great with a pair of leggings and boots.

Morning Glory- Beenie Boos are hot! I was thrilled to find the adorable Ty plush at Morning Glory for only $4.99. That’s $2-$3 less than other stores who carry the Boos. SCORE! Find them on the second floor towards the Macy’s end.

Crazy 8- This is one of our favorite shops for children’s fashions. I can always count on a good sale here. Plus, my daughter can watch one of the cartoons on the TV at the back of the store while I browse the rounds of clothes. They are currently offering deep discounts on their entire stock. Everything in the store is $12.99 or under. I purchased a cute puffy pink jacket along with a nice pair of black boots for my daughter both for $12.99 each.

Macys- I picked up this cute bracelet where you can spell out your own message at Macy’s.Also, I had a hard time walking by the shoe section. I love boots but I reminded myself that this shopping spree wasn’t about me!

The Hallmark Store- I can never pass by this store. All the isles are filled with cute knick knacks, collectibles and plush (if you can’t tell, my family and I are addicted to cute plush toys) that are perfect stocking stuffers. Who could resist miniature super hero “itty bittys” or this abominable snow man!

JCPenny- I fell in love with this ruby red slow cooker. What else can I say?

Bath & Bodyworks- The Twisted Peppermint 3-wick candle is to die for and at $12? You can buy two!

The Shops at Montebello are nicely decorated for the holidays and I got a glimpse of Santa Claus and he looks jolly! Almost every store is offering great deals this time of year which put a smile on my face. Plus, customers can win during Montebello’s Countdown to Christmas, which is taking place on 12/15, 12/16, 12/18 & 12/19. Each day at 6:00 pm! The center will be giving away an iPad Air 2, Beats Solo 2 Wireless, and a Coach Kelsey handbag all week. Only people shopping in the mall each of those days may enter to win. It all begins at 4:00 p.m and winners must be 18 or older and be present to win. I don’t know about you but I would love to win an iPad Air 2!!!

Shopping with a Montebello Visa Gift Card made my shopping hassle free. If you are not sure what to buy that special person, a mall gift card is the perfect gift. Visa Gift Cards are available for purchase at the customer service booth which is located right outside of Santa’s village. All you have to do is register your card, select a pin and shop!

So, make sure to stay hydrated, don’t shop on an empty belly and come prepared with a shopping list. Being prepared always helps me stay on track.
