My daughter, Kieran, is 100% girl. Given the choice between Barbies and Thomas the Train, she will always pick the former. But when the Pink Dump Truck by Green Toys arrived on our doorstep, her face lit up like it was Christmas morning. We immediately took it out of the box and started “going to the dump”.
I love the wide open “dump” on the back. This allows Kieran to pile whatever she is transporting nice and high. The back easily lifts as well. Her favorite part? The fact that it is pink AND purple (two of her professed favorite colors). I also appreciate how all Green Toys are packaged so you can get the toy out in less than 5 seconds. There are no wires to untwist or cut through–just open the box and roll out the truck and you are ready to play!
The wheels do not roll as well on our wood floors as other Green Toys vehicles we’ve had. The difference I’ve noticed is in the deep grooves on the dump truck tires. The large, chunky wheels roll great on the carpet and outside, though! The dump truck lives up to the same quality construction I expect from Green Toys. There are no metal axels and the toy is free of BPA, PVC, phthalates and external coatings. The dumper also lifts all the way up, so you won’t have any leftover “trash”.

we LOVE green toys!! the boys have almost all of the big trucks and play with them constantly inside and outside the house. they are great and easy to clean. i checked out their website and see they have added some great new products, looks like i know what the boys will be getting as presents soon- the mini vehicle sets!
Im all for recycled toys and bpa free. The brand green toys has a great message and all but at 27.99 for a dump truck is a little out of control for anyone on a budget. I think we need a company that can provide an affordable green product for all walks of life.
