Now through Saturday, April 4th, Irvine Park Railroad holds egg hunts, photo opps with the Easter Bunny and other “eggtastic” activities. My family and I visited Irvine Raiload on the first day of their Easter Eggstravaganza! The weather was warm, the atmosphere was festive and we were excited for a fun-filled day in Irvine.
Irvine Regional Park has so much to offer families but we decided to focus on the Easter events that were held throughout the day. We immediately noticed the moon house, the horseback riding, games, and face painting booth but decided to eat first before starting our adventure. We were pleased to sit and relax in the shade and have lunch and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
First up, face painting. My daughter chose to have an egg painted which was perfect for the fun Easter egg hunt! The face painter did a fantastic job and made it pretty and sparkly. Next we went over to the gaming booth were every kids gets a prize. My son chose a stuffed cow, and my daughter chose a bunny.
Next up was the jumper, the kids enjoyed jumping around with the other kids. After their time was up they enjoyed some fresh popped popcorn.
It was now time for our picture with the Easter Bunny. This was a very cheerful and cute bunny as I’ve seen a few intimidating ones. My daughter walked right up got her picture taken. The picture turned out really nice!
For the cost of $10.00, children can meet and have their photo taken with the Easter Bunny. This cost includes a complimentary photo that will be taken by Irvine Park Railroad staff. Each additional print of the same photo is $6.00. Photos will be printed in a few, short minutes at the Easter Bunny booth.
The kids waited patiently for the Easter egg hunt, and it was finally time! Each kid could pick up 8 eggs each! They had a great time, choosing their eggs, and then opening up to find candy or a special surprise of a free activity.
Easter egg hunts begin daily at 10:00 AM and tickets may be purchased and exchanged for a wristband to participate in an egg hunt at a specific time. Please bring an Easter basket for each child that will be participating in the Easter egg hunt.
We had such a wonderful day at the Irvine Railroad Extravangza, we would recommend all friends with small children to visit for the Easter Estravaganza event!
