How Sweet IT Is: Mini Lalaloopsy playset Review and Giveaway

How could a doll with a name like Crumb Sugar Cookie not be sweet? The popular line of Lalaloopsy rag dolls is now mini sized! Mini Lalaloopsy dolls are 3” and are absolutely adorable. The Mini’s have moveable arms and legs and just like their big sisters. they have button eyes and colorful hair and outfits. MGA Entertainment makes these miniature plastic rag dolls and I really love their tiny size!

We received Crumb Sugar Cookies Tea Party set to review during our How Sweet IT Is theme! Crumb Sugar Cookie’s “Sewn On Date” is December 4th which is National Cookie Day (naturally!). Crumb Sugar Cookie loves treats and having friends over. My daughter shares the same loves! This set was a big hit for my daughter. The furniture is cookie shaped and Teagan thought they looked good enough to eat (please don’t)! The tea party set also includes a table and two chairs, a cookie jar, teacups, saucers and a teakettle. Each Mini Lalaloopsy doll comes with a pet. Crumb’s pet is a mouse.

My daughter enjoys the doll and has been taking her out everywhere. Crumb Sugar Cookie fits nicely in a coat pocket and is extremely lightweight. The only downside to the set is that the doll tends to fall off her chair. But, that doesn’t stop my daughter from using her imagination. She parades the doll around and laughs at the way the doll “walks”. Teagan also uses the toy’s packaging as the dolls tearoom. The doll can actually hold the teakettle and cups, which looks super cute! Reminder, the doll is small which means small accessories (ages 4+). You might want to store the pieces in a container or else you might lose them.

The Crumb Sugar Cookies Tea Party set is available at Toys R Us for $12.99. The price is a little higher than I’d expect it to be for a set of this size but it is a fun toy for imaginative play. The individual Mini Lalaloopsys sell for $5.99 at Toys R Us. Collect them all!
