OUR THOUGHTS: Movie night in our house can be a bit of a challenge. Our goal is to select a movie that will appeal to a 3 year old and a 16 year old.  It usually turns out that someone isn’t entirely pleased with the choice. Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2 wound up being the perfect choice for everyone! This fun filled family movie is perfect for all ages. My family are dog lovers and what’s better than watching a pack of talking dogs? Adults, don’t despair you will get a kick out all of the challenges Papi has to face in his new role as a father. This movie feature hysterical stereotypes of BH high society. From sushi eating dogs at the dog park to the evil “Cat Person” who is foreclosing on their home.  Leave it to the the dogs to save the day!  The movie also has lessons about helping others and doing what is right. Lessons for both young and old. The talking dogs looked very real! George Lopez’s voice as Papi was a perfect fit. Even though I recognized his voice it didn’t distract me that sometimes happens in animated films. We got lots of laughs out of this and both of my kids are begging to watch the original Beverly Hills Chihuahua. I recommend you check this flick out for your next family movie night.
