D23 Fans will be among first to see this high-flying, family adventure!
On Friday, Aug.9 at 3 p.m., the wait is over for D23 fans anticipating the release of Disney’s Planes!! On its official nationwide release day, Disneytoon Studios Disney’s Planes will soar inside the Anaheim Convention Center in a special D23 screening that includes appearances from stars of the film!! Produced by Traci Balthazor-Flynn, director Klay Hall (King of the Hill, The Simpsons), an aviation enthusiast, magnificently steered this 3D animated, comedy adventure. Written by Jeffrey M. Howard, this high-flying adventure follows the dreams of Dusty Crophopper (Dane Cook, My Best Friend’s Girl), a crop duster, who has dreams of being a racer.
Those dreams would be all fine and dandy if Dusty wasn’t afraid of soaring high into the clouds! Yep, he’s afraid of heights and wants to be an aerial racer. He’s got big dreams and needs a lot of wind beneath his wings. So, Dusty seeks the advice and training of veteran flyer, Skipper (Stacy Keach), to help him train for an upcoming race. Will Dusty learn to find courage and inspiration from within to overcome his fear of heights? Get your tickets to D23, Disney’s Planes or both and find out!
