Get ready for an unforgettable weekend at this year’s D23 EXPO!! Kids, tweens and families are in for an extreme time of nonstop entertainment. From Friday, Aug., 9 thru Sunday, Aug., 11, Disney’s D23 EXPO promises a jam-packed weekend. At the Anaheim Convention Center in Calif., Disney Channel, Disney XD and Disney Junior features three AMAZING days of live performances, opportunities to meet stars, receive autographs, view movie screenings, and dance, dance, DANCE!!! Radio Disney Personalities and Road Crew from the 24-hour contemporary hits network, the only kids and family broadcaster, will be rocking tunes daily, offering fun prizes and interactive entertainment!
On Friday, make sure you hit the Disney Channel booth, where you have the opportunity to meet your favorite “Phineas and Ferb” and Marvel Universe characters and stars in person during back-to-back appearances on Friday. That’s right! In celebration of this season’s “Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel” episode, you can meet the Disney characters, Phineas, Ferb, Agent P; creators, Dan Povenmire and Swampy Marsh, plus stars Vincent Martella and Alyson Stoner from 10:30am to 11:30am, along with greeting Marvel Universe’s Spider-Man and Iron Man from 11:30am to 1pm. Disney XD fans can also meet “Crash and Bernstein” stars Cole Jenson, Tim Lagasse, Landry Bender and Crash at 1pm. The futuristic “Lab Rats” stars Tyrel Jackson Williams, Billy Unger, and Spencer Boldman will be at the booth from 3:30-4:30pm. “A.N.T. Farm” stars Jake Short, Sierra McCormick, Stefanie Scott and Aeidin Mincks will be there at 4:30pm. Or, see ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” finalist and “Shake It Up” stars Zendaya along with her co-stars Roshon Fegan and Adam Irigoyen.
On Saturday, the Disney Channel booth offers D23 fans another day of excitement with opportunities to meet their fave “Dog With A Blog” stars G Hannelius, Blake Michael, Francesca Capaldi and Beth Littleford from 10am to 1pm. And, karate aficionados can see “Kickin It” stars Jason Earles, Leo Howard, Olivia Holt, and Dylan Riley Snyder from 12:30pm-1:30pm. The afternoon heats up when “Jessie” stars Skai Jackson and Cameron Boyce enter the booth from 1:30-2:30pm. Meet the hilarious stars of “Good Luck Charlie” Bridgit Mendler, Jason Dolley, Bradley Steven Perry and Leigh-Allyn Baker. And remain for a memorable performance by Pop Sensation and Hollywood Records recording artist, Bridgit Mendler from 2:30-4:30pm. From 4:30-5pm, Hollywood Records band R5 performs. This family band is fronted by “Austin and Ally” and Teen Beach Movie star, Ross Lynch, and is composed of his siblings – all with first names beginning with the letter “R.” Join the “Surf Crazy” Fan Dance at 5pm, along with Ross Lynch, and other stars of Teen Beach Movie, including Grace Phipps, Garrett Clayton, John Deluca, Chrissie Fit, Jordan Fisher, and Mollee Gray.
Sunday, the Disney Channel booth offers fun for the youngest at-heart. Disney Junior fans can meet “Sofia the First,” “Doc McStuffins,” and “Jake and the Never Land Pirates” characters from 10am until Noon. “Sofia the First” fans can also chat with Clover the Rabbit in person “aka” Wayne Brady, plus Sofia. Learn the ups and downs of being a princess in the land of Enchancia. At Stage 28, fans can watch never-before-seen Mickey Mouse shorts from 1 to 2pm. From 2:30 to 3:30pm, you can meet Disney Junior’s newest show, “Wander Over Yonder” stars, Jack McBrayer and April Winchell, plus chat with creator/executive producer Craig McCracken. This years D23 will definitely go down in the history books. Or, as Mac in Teen Beach Movie would say, “It’s one wave I wouldn’t wanna miss!”
